Freya enlists the help of Kratos to help free her from Odin’s curse which doesn’t allow her to leave Midgard. Once they arrive in Vanaheim, they happen upon Freyr’s Camp. Together with his small unit of warriors, Freyr has been defending Vanaheim from the forces that are slowly taking over the realm. Kratos and Freya travel deeper into Vanaheim until they finally locate where Odin hid the binding curse. The two work together in order to free Freya. In the process, they kill Nidhogg since Odin hid the binding curse in Yggdrasil’s roots. With Freya liberated from her curse, she travels back to Freyr’s Camp with Kratos and has an emotional reunion with her brother.
