Search keyword "Venom: Let There Be Carnage Andy Serkis” In the first ten minutes of "Venom: Let There Be Carnage," directed by Andy Serkis, the movie opens by delving into the troubled childhood of Cletus Kasady in 1996 at St. Estes Home for Unwanted Children. Young Cletus is shown witnessing the removal of his lover, Frances Barrison, also known as Shriek, from the institution. As Frances is being taken away, her sonic scream power manifests, causing chaos and injuring a young police officer, Patrick Mulligan, who shoots her in retaliation. Frances is then taken to Ravencroft Institute, a facility designed to contain individuals with special abilities. This opening sequence establishes the tragic separation of Cletus and Frances and introduces Frances's dangerous powers and her connection to Patrick Mulligan. The film then transitions to the present day, focusing on Eddie Brock and his symbiotic relationship with Venom. Eddie is struggling to coexist with Venom, who is living inside him. Eddie is trying to revive his journalism career and gets an opportunity to interview the notorious serial killer Cletus Kasady, who is now on death row in San Quentin State Prison. During Eddie's interview with Cletus, Venom, from within Eddie, is able to perceive clues related to Cletus's murders, specifically the locations of the bodies of his victims. This information, revealed through Eddie's article, boosts Eddie's career. However, in a subsequent and final interview before Cletus's execution, Cletus bites Eddie's hand. In doing so, Cletus ingests some of Venom's symbiote blood. This ingestion of Venom's blood by Cletus sets the stage for his transformation into Carnage, which occurs shortly after the ten-minute mark, during Cletus's execution. The initial minutes therefore primarily serve to establish the backstory of Cletus and Frances, and to set up the central conflict by showing how Cletus becomes infected with a symbiote, paving the way for the emergence of Carnage.
