Pastor Ellen's List of Coming Events. —Two more new members joining this month! —Stewardship month begins this Sunday! In the newsletter and bulletin you will find the QR code and other information to make your pledge for 2026 —AACO Police Department is holding a number of weekly ZOOM meetings to inform us of hate crimes in our area. Please see the information provided in today’s newsletter. —The Chesapeake Associate Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, November 15 on ZOOM. I hope you will attend. —On Saturday, November 22, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., AACO will officially apologize to African-Americans for slavery. This auspicious event is free and includes workshops/discussions on reparations. I know that at least three of us are going. Why not join us? —Stewardship Sunday is November 23. We will present our pledge cards and bless them. —Saturday, November 29, we will gather in the morning (time TBA) to make preparations for greening the sanctuary. —Sunday, November 30, is the First Sunday of Advent! We will receive a small “reward” for the donations! To date, we have received $92.00 from shoes and books. We are also collecting sneakers. _______________________________________ UCCA Choir: Choir rehearsals meet Sunday mornings at 9:30am. New voices are welcome! Come sing with us! ________________________________________ Sunday School: Sunday School is offered during worship for youth 11 years old and younger during the academic year. Young adults 12+ will stay in worship. Class begins following the children's service. Fellowship Following Services: Please join us after the 10:30 service for a cup and conversation! Third Sunday Potluck luncheons are back! On the third Sunday of each month please bring a dish to share and join us to for lunch and to celebrate birthdays of the month.
