When Jesus calls us, He is inviting us into a life of change that starts to chip away at the stubborn, conceited, lazy, and greedy in order to reveal His Spirit within us. Jesus summons us to a purpose that involves His kingdom and has eternal repercussions when He does so. He is challenging us to engage in a spiritual battle that we cannot prevail in on our own. We must battle using His might, force, and strategy. If we approach it in His way, victory is assured. Yes, dear friends, let's remember how our beloved Jesus summoned everyone of us individually today. Dear friends, let us hear Him asking us to renew our call, train us, appoint us, send us, and equip us so that we can bless others, minister to others, and help us see lives being changed by the power of His Gospel. Prayer Dear Lord, we are grateful that you have asked us to serve as your Word's messengers. Come, O Lord, into our divided families, our warring societies, and our lives that are rife with internal strife. Lord, accompany us on this road and give us courage when we encounter difficulties so that we may continue to serve you with love, faith, and hope.
