DETROIT - Couple shot dead in ambush at gas station, baby unharmed; Police searching for suspects
SCRIPT -- Welcome back to E8H News. - Tonight, we are covering a tragic shooting in Detroit, Michigan. The shooting occurred in the night hours of Monday, October 18th. A couple was ambushed with gunfire while sitting inside their vehicle at the Marathon Gas station. The victims were confirmed to be 22-year-old Benson Lindsey and Marshae Nash, also 22 years old. The couple's 9-month-old baby was also present in the vehicle but unharmed during the shooting. Police are searching for two suspects. The suspects were both wearing dark colored hoodies and sweatpants. Both appear to be male.
