============================================================ Resident Evil 8: Village Full Game playthrough on the Xbox Series X ============================================================ This playthrough will contain the full story including cutscenes, the official soundtrack for the game, an active review of my personal experience with the game, the solutions to in game puzzles, any DLC released for the game, a rough guide on where to find collectibles (however a separate video is likely to be produced to include them all), an exploration of the characters within the game, exploration of the lore within the universe, a brief explanation of the events in the game, and much more! ============================================================ Resident Evil 8: Village is a first person survival horror game which takes place through the eyes of Ethan Winters. The game has the series take a step back onto its horror routes as the player traverses the claustrophobic streets of a devout European village that seems trapped in a curse that not even the locals are aware of- the game features multiple returning features from previous title 'Resident Evil 7: Biohazard' along with some system overhauls and changes to help improve on overall gameplay. The plot follows Ethan Winters after the events that took place 3 years ago in Louisiana- him and his wife Mia Winters have moved to Europe in pursuit of a new start without the horrors they both endured all those years ago, In this pursuit they have decided to start a family by having a child together called Rosemary 'Rose' Winters. Unknown to either of them is just how special their child is- one tragic night Mia Winters is murdered in her family home with Ethan right beside her, the previous hero that helped save Ethan and Mia, Chris Redfield, being the man who pulled the trigger. Ethan and Rose are taken by Chris and his team as they wish to monitor their conditions however an accident on the way separates the entire cast leaving Ethan stranded in a strange village ruled over by 4 mutant lords: Lady Alcina Dimitrescu, an extremely tall vampire-like aristocrat, who inhabits Castle Dimitrescu with her three daughters, Karl Heisenberg who leads a group of werewolf-like creatures called 'Lycans' from a contemporary factory, Salvatore Moreau a strange "Merman" who operates from a reservoir not far from the village, and Donna Beneviento who resides in her manor, House Beneviento, she exists in the village under the guise of a puppet she controls named 'Angie'. All of the Lords along with the inhabitants of the village worship the mysterious deity 'Mother Miranda'.. Ethan is once more threw into a hellish nightmare with a mission all too familiar to him, he must once more save that which he loves and uncover the twisted truths behind the events before him.. Will you have what it takes to escape the village, or will you become another fairy tale to tell around the campfire?
