Frequent food shortages expected
Consumers have been warned to expect more food shortages ahead of a forecasted third consecutive La Nina weather event. The eastern seaboard is expected to experience more supply chain issues - as possible flooding hinders perishable goods. Experts are also predicting more price rises on staples such as oil, dairy and poultry - as raw material costs skyrocket due to the war in Ukraine.
