Warm up with This Simple Korean Seaweed Soup #cookingVlog
I love this seaweed soup, but it’s especially perfect on a cold winter day. Paired with rice, it’s all I need! it warms me up and feels so refreshing. It’s also very simple to make, and you can even prepare it a day in advance, allowing the seaweed to soften and the flavors to deepen. Ingredients: Any stew beef (for a rich broth), Dried pollock (optional, for extra depth of flavor), Water, Dried seaweed (soak for 5 minutes—it will triple in size once boiled), Garlic (minced), Ginger, Seasoning: Soy sauce, Fish sauce, Himalayan salt (to taste), Instructions: Bring water to a boil. If using dried pollock, add it at this stage for extra broth flavor. Add the stew beef, along with ginger and garlic, letting it simmer to enhance the broth. Once the beef is tender, add the soaked seaweed and continue simmering. Season with soy sauce, fish sauce, and Himalayan salt to taste. Adjust as needed. Serve hot with a bowl of rice, (of course, kimchi and other side dishes are always welcome) for a comforting and nourishing meal!
