Pre-shaping some 50% whole wheat sourdough in the baking studio today! This bread holds a special place in my heart—and lately, it’s been even more meaningful. After a recent trip to the ER (gallbladder issues, anyone? 🫣) and the news that I’ll need surgery, the docs suggested I lean into whole grain breads. Starting here with 50% whole wheat, one of my all-time favourites and one of the most-loved recipes on my site.
