Beginner Pilates Reformer Workout — 45 Min Full Body Strength + Stability, Episode 5 of Reformer 101. Build core strength, posture, balance and confidence with this beginner full-body Reformer workout. Welcome to Pilates Reformer 101 Episode 5! This 45-minute beginner Pilates Reformer workout combines full-body strength, stability, mobility and controlled movement to help you become more confident on your Reformer. This progressive beginner Reformer Pilates class brings together the foundational skills from Episodes 1–4. We’ll work the core, glutes, legs, arms, shoulders and back while practicing posture, balance, carriage control and smooth transitions. We begin with Pilates breathing, pelvic mobility, bridges and thoracic rotation. From there, we move into Reformer footwork, calf raises, arms in straps, Hundred preparation, triceps and feet-in-straps exercises. The second half includes seated upper-body work, Elephant, hip-flexor stretching, standing scooter variations, balance training, kneeling carriage presses, knee tucks and long-box exercises for the back, shoulders and arms. We finish with Mermaid and a gentle chest-opening stretch.
