Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu (NES) [100%] (4K, 60FPS)
"Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu" is an action-platform video game developed by Now Production and published by Hudson Soft. Initially released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990, it was later made available for the TurboGrafx-16 in 1991. In the game, players take on the role of Jackie Chan, the famous martial arts stunt master, embarking on a journey to rescue his kidnapped sister. Throughout five levels, players will face numerous enemies, each level culminating in a boss battle. During the game, Jackie encounters frogs carrying power-ups or rice bowls that restore his health. To obtain these items, the player must hit the frogs. Power-ups enable Jackie to perform special attacks a limited number of times, with the player able to carry only one power-up at a time. Additionally, Jackie can charge a powerful beam-like attack, usable up to five times, but enemies killed with the beam attack won't drop green orbs. Green orbs dropped by defeated enemies contribute to replenishing Jackie's life. Upon collecting 30 orbs, his life is restored, along with the five charged shots. However, if Jackie dies, all collected orbs and power-ups are lost and must be obtained again. Players start with one life but can continue up to five times initially. Additional continues can be earned through bonus stages triggered by bells in the levels. These stages have a 30-second time limit and involve tasks like jumping on clouds or hitting statues for points. The points accumulated in bonus stages can be used to purchase extra lives and special attacks. In Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu, players engage in intense action, showcase their martial arts skills, and master Jackie's unique attacks to overcome the challenging levels and save his sister.
