What is Vaccine Confidence?

Vaccines, also known as immunizations, protect you, your family and your community from vaccine-preventable diseases like measles, chickenpox and polio. They help protect you from: • getting sick, • having lifelong complications or dying from these preventable diseases, • and spreading these diseases to others. The more you know about the safety of immunizations, the more confident you can be in your decision to vaccinate. We call this Vaccine Confidence!
