Operation 627 "In the dead of night, Alpha Team infiltrates a Russian gulag." — Mission Briefing Operation 627 is the first campaign level in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. Vladimir Makarov/Czar 9-0 Actual Bravo Team Bravo 1 Charlie Team Charlie 1 Raptor 1 Plot The mission opens with Alpha Team exiting their submarine and moving up to the surface. Once they are near the wall of the Zordaya Prison Complex. The team fires their line launchers and ascends the prison's wall. Once up there, Alpha-1 eliminates a prison guard and the team moves on. They then clear the way for Bravo Team to descend, after that, Alpha Team moves further down into the prison's courtyard and gets into position. Once all teams are ready, Charlie Team starts the attack and Alpha Team begins to engage the prison's guards, moving their way to the air duct. Alpha 2-1 then positions himself to a descending position and right after Bravo Team cuts the power, he descends, alongside his team. Bravo Team then kicks off the prison riot, with Alpha Team eliminating any prison guard they encounter to help in spreading the riot further. Once Alpha Team reaches the ground floor, they go deeper into the prison, eventually reaching Prison 627's cell. After confirming that it's their guy, Bravo Team opens the door of the cell. Prisoner 627 exchanges batters with Alpha-1 and Alpha 2-1, then he walks out, revealing himself to be none other than Vladimir Makarov. Alpha Team then escort Makarov up to the prison's courtyard, where they call for Raptor's fire support to pave the way to the tunnel - their extraction point. However, the plan changed due to an attack helicopter blocking their way, killing Alpha-3, forcing Alpha Team to change their route. Eventually, they barely managed to escape alongside Makarov, and Bravo Team, and Charlie Team.
