What happens when you get angry? - Ms. Anupama Maruvada

Usually any emotions when they come to a person, it is like a vicious circle, trigger, thoughts, feelings and behaviour and typically when we are looking at anger it can be divided into thought, physical sensations and behaviors. Thoughts- what are the thought that com you you when you are angry? I am treated unfairly or I am disrespected or they are breaking rules or standard or I cannot take it or I must do something about it. These kind of thoughts hit a person. Next is the physical sensation. Physical sensation would be the rushing of adrenaline into the body. So physical sensation would be the heart raising or ponding or breathing quickly or the breathing phase increases or tensing muscles or shaking or hot or sweating or light headedness or dizzy or they feel that they will fall down. Stomach churning or they feel they have butterflies in the stomach. Fist clenching or teeth clenching. These are some of the physical sensation that are noticed in a person when they are angry. Behavior means how people change their face when they are angry or angry facial expression, aggressive body postures or they are about to hit somebody or angry postures, or hitting, shouting, snapping at others, storming, staying silent or almost like sulking, door slamming or making lot of noises or being sarcasm. So these are all the behaviors or these are some of the behaviors that we can observe in a person with anger.
