Never forget October 7th – International Memorial LIVE

Commemoration of the devastating terror attack by Hamas one year ago with interviews and insights with those affected by October 7 such as Doron Almog (Chairman of the Jewish Agency), Aniella Goldberg (displaced from Metulla on the border with Lebanon), Aviva Siegel (from Kfar Aza, 50 days in Hamas captivity) and many more. Streamed live from the TOS Church and Conference Center in Tübingen, Germany with hosts Jobst Bittner and Heinz Reuss. Following the worldwide vigil of the March of Life in over 25 nations, the international commemorative event, brings first impressions and pictures of the action in more than 100 cities and voices of international organizers. We share the grief of the Jewish people, stand with the Jewish state regardless of current politics and raise our voices against anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism. With a fundraising campaign for the reconstruction of the destroyed Kibbutz Kfar Aza, we are providing an opportunity to make support for Israel tangible. https://marchoflife.org/kfar-aza On October 7, 2023, at 6:29 am local time, the worst pogrom against Jews since the Shoah began with the Hamas terror attack on southern Israel. 1,170 Jews, Arabs and people of other nationalities were brutally slaughtered, raped and violated. The terrorists abducted 255 people as hostages to the Gaza Strip. Many are still held in inhumane conditions in the terror tunnels. But not only did the images of October 7 revive the worst traumas of persecution and the Shoah for many Jewish families–a wave of antisemitism and hatred of Israel gripped the streets and campuses worldwide. In some countries, Jews wonder if they can live there anymore. International institutions seem to have forgotten the events of October 7. Instead, Israel, which is fighting for its existence in Gaza, is accused of genocide in a perpetrator-victim reversal. That is why we are calling for a global silent vigil on October 7 at 6:29 am Israel time. Exactly at the time when the brutal attack began one year ago, around the world want to simultaneously read the names of the 1,170 victims of October 7 and commemorate the destroyed villages and the fate of the people with posters. We share the grief of the Jewish people, stand with the Jewish state regardless of current politics, and raise our voices against antisemitism and anti-Zionism.
