Suspect Named in Cumberland County Quadruple Murder
Jacob Allen Bennett, 26, has been named as the suspect in the quadruple murder that happened Thursday in Cumberland County, Tenn. While named as a suspect, Bennett has not been charged with the murders. He is in custody and is being held on a parole violation warrant. He was named by authorities at a news conference in Cumberland County Friday at 1 pm. TBI Director Mark Gwyn said in the news conference that they believe that we have the person that committed these crimes. Allen was taken into custody around 1 am Friday in Dayton, Tenn. by the Rhea County Sheriff's Dept. Sources say TBI agents spend much of Thursday in Rhea County searching for Bennett. The four people found shot to death in a car in the former Renegade Mountain resort in Cumberland County included one woman and three teenage boys. The victims have been identified as 22-year-old Danielle Jacobson, 16-year-old John Lajeunesse and two 17 year olds, Steven Presley and Domonic Davis. Donald E. Andrews, Director of Schools for Cumberland County said the four all have ties to Cumberland County Schools. Dominic Davis was a student Cumberland County High School. Steven Presley was a Phoenix High School May 2013 graduate. John Lajeunesse is a former Cumberland County High School student who was being home schooled. Rickie Jacobson was described as a relative of one of the other victims. %0
