Make a Rocket Stove for under $10 Easy DIY Welding Project

Saw a small portable rocket type of stove and decided to have a bash at making one. Mixed results, it certainly cooked the bacon and was a smokeless burn once it had gotten up to speed, there was a fair bit of faffing about though until id got it out of the wind and chopped the kindling up a bit smaller. Another quick and easy welding project for you to try! Total cost of this build is what? offcuts and a few bolts that id had for a billion years? Even if I had to buy it all new it would probably be under £5 / $8 so a really cheap project with a really good useable end item. Im sure ill be using this next time im staying out overnight somewhere. Couple of small modifications to be done, i think ill fill it with water and check that all the welds are good. Cut off 4 of those flanges at the top to allow a better draw and air flow beneath the frying pan. Putting 3 braces across the middle of the legs for a better support and strength. Rubbing the edges all over with a file and spray painting it with heat resistant pain. The cat is optional but highly recomended. Thanks for watching, please comment, rate and subscribe!
