December 22, 2024, "Christmas is Coming: Joyful"

This week marks the fourth Sunday of Advent, when we will be lighting the Joy candle. Would you consider yourself a joyful person? If not, did you know that being joyful (or, rejoicing) is required of the Christian? (See 1 Thessalonians 5:16) Now, you may very well be excelling in this area, but I know this is one of many areas where I personally fall short! This Sunday we will discuss the object of our joy, and the cause of our rejoicing - it’s my prayer that you would be encouraged in this area of your walk with the Lord, and that through the Scriptures we might together be given over to greater rejoicing.
