Perfect for beginners! ⬇️ 🍔 INGREDIENTS Prefermento (Levain): • 100 g All-Purpose Flour • 100 g Water • 5 g Yeast (Mix, cover, and place in the fridge overnight.) Dough (Morning): • 450 g All-Purpose Flour • 150 g Mashed Potato (Plain) • 90 g Eggs (Approx. 2 large) • 25 g Caster Sugar • 70 g Softened Butter • 150 g Whole Milk • 10 g Salt • All of the Prefermento/Levain Egg Wash: • 1 whole Egg (Beaten with 1 tbsp water or milk) ✅ INSTRUCTIONS (Quick Overview in Short) 1. Day 1: Mix prefermento and refrigerate. 2. Day 2: Combine prefermento, mashed potato, milk, eggs, sugar, flour, and salt. Mix until combined. 3. Add softened butter, mix/knead until smooth (approx. 8-10 mins). 4. Bulk Ferment: Let the dough rise until doubled (60-90 minutes). 5. Divide into portions (approx. 90-100g each) and shape into tight balls. 6. Proof: Let rise again until puffy (30-45 minutes). 7. Brush with egg wash, sprinkle with optional sesame seeds. 8.
