Responsory Psalm 97(98), 5-6, 7-8, 9a, 9bc (R. cf. 9) The Lord will come to judge the whole earth; he will judge with justice. The Lord will come to judge the whole earth; he will judge with justice. Sing psalms to the Lord with the harp and the sweet lyre! Acclaim, with trumpets and horns, the Lord, our King! Let the sea resound, and all that is in it, the whole world and all its people! Let the mountains and rivers clap their hands and exult with joy. Exult in the presence of the Lord, for he comes, he comes to judge the whole earth. He will judge the universe with justice and the nations with equity.
