Getting close to God doesn’t have to be as complicated as people make it out to be in fact, the Bible lays it out all for us through the different men, women, boys and girls and its different stories, letters, and prophecies. What you need to do before you begin is to simply have a willing heart to get closer to God. To diligently seek him. Jeremiah 29:13 lays this out nicely and I love the Message Translation which I urge you to read. If you do these four things diligently, you’ll find that you will be close to God and you will find it a little easier to stay close with Him. Therefore, when you see yourself reducing in these areas, you will see that you are possibly drifting from the Lord. When, if, you begin to drift, do these 4 things again and draw closer to Him!
