In this video, we’ll show you how to make both the traditional Crème Brûlée and a mango-flavored version that I personally discovered! 🥭 Ingredients: 1 cup milk 2 cups heavy cream 5 egg yolks ½ cup sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 pinch salt 1 mango Instructions: 1. Heat the milk, cream, and vanilla over medium heat until small bubbles form. Remove from heat. 2. Whisk the egg yolks, sugar, and salt until thick and pale. 3. Slowly temper the egg mixture by adding a bit of the warm milk mixture, then gradually mix in the rest. 4. Strain the mixture and pour it into ramekins. 5. For the mango version, blend or mash the mango and mix it into half of the custard. 6. Place the ramekins in a deep baking dish filled with hot water (1/3 of the way up). 7. Bake at 160°C (320°F) for 35-40 minutes until the edges are set and golden. 8. Chill overnight or for at least 3-4 hours in the refrigerator. 9. Sprinkle sugar on top and caramelize it using a kitchen torch or a heated spoon.
