Baked Brie en Croute with Brown Sugar & Crasins

One of my favorite holiday appetizers is Baked Brie en Croute with Brown Sugar & Crasins! "En croute" (pronounced "on KROOT") is a French term for a food that has been wrapped in pastry dough and then baked in the oven. It's quick and easy to make, it impresses guests, and it's CRAZY delicious on your favorite crackers or a slice of warm baguette. It's always a big hit! All you'll need is... 1 refrigerated pie crust 1 4-5" brie, with rind 1/2+ C light brown sugar 1/4 C dried cranberries (crasins) 1/4 C crushed macadamia nuts 2 Tbs. sweet cream butter, melted If you enjoyed this recipe, be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel, and check out my cookbook Holiday Cooking: A Home Chef's Guide, as well as the rest of the Home Chef series of books on Amazon at www.perryperkinsbooks.com Eat Well! ~Chef Perry
