Our Lady of Africa Mbuya Parish Catholic Mass Today -Monday of the Twenty-ninth Week in Ordinary Time - Memorial of Blessed Daudi Okello and Jildo Irwa, Martyrs - Reading I: Romans 4:20-25 - Responsorial Psalm: Luke 1:69-70, 71-72, 73-75 - Gospel: Luke 12:13-21 - Today in Uganda, the Church celebrate The martyrs Daudi Okelo and Jildo Irwa were two young catechists from Uganda at the beginning of the 20th century. They belonged to the Acholi tribe, a subdivision of the large Lwo group whose members even today live mostly in the North of Uganda, but they are also present in Southern Sudan, Kenya, Tanzania and Congo.
