Christ the King. Lord of Love. Amen.” (Rev 1:6) The liturgical calendar of the Church celebrates the thirty-fourth and final Sunday in Ordinary Time with The Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe. The Sunday’s Gospel invites us to recognize that Jesus, through His loving-kindness, gave Himself to be crucified and die on the cross to free us from our sins.
