[Jonghyun's POV] I wanted to tell HER everything i felt. How painful it was to keep it inside. How much i loved her, but i just couldn't. Not because i'm afraid, but because of my situation. "I have found the best girlfriend for you!" My mom said. "I don't need a girlfriend." I told her. "Oh come on, she's really pretty! And rich.." My mom whispered. "So you only want her money..Seriously mom." I said. "Please just do this for mom?! Think about the great future we will have!" "What about my hapiness?! Have you ever cared about it?!" I yelled angrily. "Of course i care about it! This is your hapiness! If you date her, think about how much money we will have to buy whatever we want!" "I don't want her money! I don't need it!" "BUT I DO!" I sighed. I was tired. Stressed. I saw my mom bursting into tears and begging me to date the girl. I really can't believe she's doing this. She only wants money. Everything is about money. I hate it. What happened to love and hapiness. I sighed again and went to my room and slammed the door. Then, my phone rang and i picked it up immediately without looking at the caller i.d. "WHAT?!" I threw my anger out. "Jonghyun?" "Oh...I-i'm sorry Jessica.." I realized it was HER. The girl i loved. "Are you alright?" She asked with concern. "Of course i'm fine. Why wouldn't i be? You know me, the happy Jonghyun." I forced a smile. "Oh, that's good then." "So, why'd you call me?" I tried to sound gentle. "Tiffany's birthday is next week. She told me to invite people to her party. Are you going to come?" She asked. "Are you coming?" I asked hesitantly. "Yeah,of course. Tiffany is my bestfriend." "I'll be at her party." I said. "Great, can't wait. See you at school." Jessica hanged up. I was excited for the party. I was happy she was the one who invited me. For that moment, all my anger faded away until my mom started bringing up the stupid money girl date. She came into my room. "You will meet the girl at 1 pm later." Mom said. "I told you, i don't need a girlfriend." "I'm really begging you, Jonghyun. You don't have to love the girl just date her. Please. Please understand mom's situation. I just lost my job and the bills for the house are coming. If i can't pay it, we might get kicked out. The rich girl is our only hope." I couldn't help but feel bad. I wanted to be a good son but i don't know if this was right. I could see the sadness in mom's eyes and the seriousness in her tone. "fine.." I mumbled. "Thank you so much. I promise you i will do anything for you after you date her." Mom finally smiled and hugged me. [AFTER THE "DATE"] "I had a good time with you , Jonghyun." She smiled. "Yeah me too." I lied. "Let's go out again like this next time." "Alright." She then forcefully pulled me for a deep kiss. I quickly pushed her away. "WHAT THE HELL?!" I yelled. She smiled. But this time the smile looked creepy. More like a perverted smile. She leaned in towards my ear and whispered. "I know you were forced to date me. I know you don't have any feelings for me. But i will make sure one day you will. If you EVER dare to ignore or avoid me, i will make sure you and your mom will live out on the streets with no food to eat." "You're crazy." I said. "Call me crazy, but i'm just warning you." She laughed evily. [THE NEXT DAY , AT SCHOOL] I walked to school, feeling like i was in danger and stressed out. But the girl who always made me feel safe and calm was Jessica. She walked towards me with her beautiful smile. "I made an invitation card for Tiffany's birthday." She handed me one. "You designed the card?" I asked. "Yeah, you like it?" She smiled. "Yeah, it looks great." "Thanks." "But, how come you only made one and gave it to me?" I asked. "I just.." I could see her face slightly red. "I just felt like it." She said shyly. I smiled and was about to hug her until that stupid Nicole girl came. "Hey, sweetheart." Nicole said. "Hi." I said. "Sweetheart?" Jessica said sounding confused. "Why? I can't call my own boyfriend sweetheart?" Nicole asked. "B-boyfriend?" Jessica seemed surprised. "Stop it Nicole." I said. "Why? You want to hide our relationship?" "No, it's just-" I got cut off. "You both are dating...?" Jessica asked with a sad expression. "No-" I got cut off again. "Yes, we are." Nicole said proudly. I looked at Jessica's expression. Her smile faded instantly and i could see the sadness in her eyes. "Jessic-" She didn't let me finish and ran off. I wanted to chase her but Nicole grabbed my arm. "If you dare chase after her, you know what will happen." Nicole threatened me. I stood there watching the girl i love run off. I knew i would definitely regret this day i ever let go of her.
