Commentary on Today's Gospel Luke 8:16-18 At that time, Jesus said to the crowds: "No one, after lighting a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed. Instead, it is placed on a lampstand so that those who enter may see the light. For nothing is hidden that will not be brought to light; nothing is secret that will not be known and revealed.
