AT&T Wireless Shepherd
In 2000, AT&T spun off its wireless division in what was the largest IPO to that time. This spot launched the campaign supporting the spinoff. The brand ground was clear: People expected an AT&T to do important things . . . like put them in touch with every aspect of their lives. The creative team, Scott Larson and Brad Berg, found a big metaphor in a shepherd whose world is brought to him. AT&T Wireless had a great 2000. BTW, that shepherd was really a shepherd.
