Russia helicopter outside Kyiv after forced landing

(24 Feb 2022) Images on Thursday showed a Russian helicopter gunship which had purportedly been forced to land in a field just outside the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv. Russia launched a wide-ranging attack on Ukraine on Thursday, hitting cities and bases with airstrikes or shelling, as civilians piled into trains and cars to flee. Ukrainian media had reported seeing Russian helicopters flying over the capital.
