Advent: Faith and Hope - November 27, 2022

This week marks the beginning of a very special time of the year in the Christian calendar. It is the first week of Advent. Unity sees not only advent, but the entire Bible, as primarily symbolic. As such, we understand this “coming” not as the  “birth” of the Christ in one man, but the inevitable birth of “the Christ consciousness” within each person. Metaphorically, advent represents the preparation for the birth of the Christ IN YOU, your hope of glory! It is the coming of a complete transformation. A metamorphosis, much like the caterpillar becoming the butterfly. This week we look at the first of the attributes associated with how this change begins, faith and hope.  Join us this week as we examine this transformational approach to Bible interpretation. Rev.
