#LaceCookie Ingredients: 1/3 cup (40gr.) of all purpose flour 1 cup (125gr.+/-) chopped almonds (not too fine for texture but to your preference) 3 1/2 tbs. unsalted butter 3/4 cup (165gr.) brown sugar 1 tsp.+/- Vanilla extract 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 cup molasses or corn syrup Note:If the ingredients vary a little more or less does not seem to affect the outcome. When melting chocolate for filling I use the Microwave oven at 20 sec. intervals,checking each time to avoid burning. *Baking temperatures and time are more critical because the dough or cookies can burn easily!!!* Welcome to STAMPS MyFunThings the useful information channel. My specialties were in varieties of all kinds and especially color varieties. But also of prime interest were covers. But by doing this and doing it well it is essential to invest in good tools as you would for any other project : tongues,magnifiers,definitely a good, accurate and well detailed catalog,etc. !!! Remember, "you only get out what you put in". Be curious about the stamp you are looking at: front,back,perforation,color,watermark,plate flaw,etc. Don't put it back until your curiosity is fully satisfied; if not then put it in a special place for further investigation later. Oh yes.....you are now into forensics. Believe me,when you discover your first better variety you will be thrilled and further encouraged to this most wonderful hobby.
