Delhi's filthy classrooms and unflushed washrooms After surprise checks on the schools managed by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) in the national capital, the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has come out with disturbing facts. A women's panel of the commission, led by DCW chairperson discovered used syringes, cigarette butts, and alcohol bottles on the playgrounds and other areas of those schools. Educationist Nayan Parikh speaks about the need to improve ALL schools & not just the ones belonging to the private sector.  "We are only concerned about the lack of water needed for cleanliness."
