Week Sixteen, Acts 11:19-30, 6/11/23

Chad Sufficool preaches on serving each other and the gift of a prophet. You are watching a sermon video from our Sunday morning worship gathering at East Petersburg Mennonite Church. East Petersburg Mennonite Church is a church community that is learning to live and love like Jesus in East Petersburg, PA. We gather on Sunday Mornings at 10:00 a.m. to worship God, to celebrate in community, and to be equipped for God’s mission in the world. In fact, the life and rhythms of our church community are shaped by our three values; worship, community, and mission. We value worship by continually focusing on and surrendering to God’s character which transforms our individual lives and relationships. We value community as an extended family of Jesus’ followers celebrating together, encouraging each other, and investing in the lives of others. We value mission while being led by the Holy Spirit, we demonstrate the goodness of God’s love, peace, and healing to our neighbors. We believe God has called us to disciple locally, to influence regionally, and proclaim worldwide. For us, that means focusing our discipling efforts in East Petersburg, to be a gospel influence in Lancaster, and to proclaim Jesus to the ends of the earth. Our story began in 1720 when some neighbors first began gathering together. Ever since then, we have been intertwined with the neighborhoods of East Petersburg and we love being part of this town. As a church community, we are affiliated with a network of churches known as LMC. In this network, we are connected to local churches through our district, resourced by regional gathers of churches in the Lancaster area, and globally connected to churches across the United States and the World. If you have any questions please contact us! We invite you to gather us for worship at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings! We are located at 6279 Main Street in East Petersburg, PA.
