Meet the Dolls of VintageWaffle

~ E d g e o f F o r e v e r S t u d i o s~ this is not my real voice. I have a very high pitched voice with a slight accent. I'm embarrassed by it though, so I try to hide it. In this photoshoot, I introduce you to my 4 lovely dolls, each unique in their own way. They mean a lot to me, and are my biggest photography interest. I recieved Jessali for my 8th birthday in 2006. I never did anything without her. When I went biking, I fixed her neatly below the handlebars and held her hand. I took her to the Kit movie premeire. I would take her to the grocery store and make her pick out food for her own meals. Somedays when my cousins visited, we'd build tents in the backyard and make our dolls camp. Those were the days. Claire St. James joined the family on my birthday in 2008. Jessali was a little skeptical at first, they turned out to be great friends. One day, I took Claire and Jessali outside for a picnic, when I noticed another girl with Mia and Jess, too! That girl would soon turn out to be my best friend. Her name was Destiny. For the follwing years, we would make our dolls go on adventures to mountains, on a ship fighting pirates, and discovering faires in meadows. In November 2010, I saved up enough to buy Zeniya off of ebay. Her previous owner destroyed her hair, so my only option was to straighten it. A few days later, my Grandma surprised me with Nicolette. She bought her for my cousin, but found out my cousin no longer had an interest in dolls. So, she gave Nicolette to me instead. On January 1st, 2012, I bought Skye with babysitting money. Destiny talked me in to buying her. She just arrived yesterday, and is a great (and final) addition to my doll family. Sometime just for the fun of it, Destiny and I take our dolls to the backyard and pretend we are young, free to love dolls without hate. I miss the days when I said "I have AG dolls!" to my friends and their response would be "THAT'S SO COOL!" =') ~Alice
