Economic Alphabet - What Will the Recovery Look Like?

As economic pundits debate how the global economy will recover, many are describing a potential recovery using an alphabetical letter. For example, an "L" shaped recovery is described as a dramatic drop in the stock market followed by a slow, stagnant period before eventually rising. This, of course, is not desirable. Arguably the best recovery would be a "V" shaped recovery, which is a sharp drop in the stock market followed by a sharp recovery.
