PAINTING VIDEO DESCRIPTION – Looking for an easy Christmas painting idea? Want to do a fun seasonal DIY project? Let me be your acrylic art instructor as I teach you easy step-by-step instructions throughout this fun beginner art video as you learn how to paint the Eiffel Tower, Paris, and a woman walking in the snow with a red umbrella—a fun portraiture landscape image “PARIS IN WINTER” with acrylic paint. What comes to mind when you think of Paris? The Louvre, Eiffel Tower, The Da Vinci Code, Claude Monet, Musee d'Orsay, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral, Montmartre, Sacre-Coeur, Champs Elysees, Moulin Rouge, Macarons, Bistros, French Fries, French Kiss, fashion, renaissance, the list is endless and there is no right or wrong answer, but whatever popped into your head, we can all agree that this notorious French city is a very popular romantic tourist destination and on most people’s bucket list. And just because you might not be able to go right now, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy creating your own image of this beloved destination. While following this simple art tutorial, you’ll learn to paint this captivating Parisian landscape with a distant city skyline that has depth, contrast and brilliant natural colors, creating a stunning and vibrant winter cityscape scenery painting. The first lesson you’ll learn in this acrylic instruction is how to paint atmospheric dimension in the background using color theory to mix a seductive soft custom color to create your wintery sky behind the Eiffel tower to set the stage for the perfect Holiday vibe in Paris. The next step to this canvas painting is to draw the Eiffel Tower off in the distance surrounded by the enchanted Parisian city, which will be done using an impressionistic style for the out-of-focus bokeh buildings, perfect for creating the look of this iconic symbol without worry about fine detail. Continuing on in this beginner level tutorial, you’ll then learn how to paint Christmas evergreen pine trees or bushes using a dotting or stippling brushstroke technique. You’ll learn how to paint Christmas bauble ornaments and use highlights and shadows to give them form and shine. After drawing an outline with good proportions and applying a base coat as a foundation to your female figure and umbrella, you’ll use simple painting techniques to add color contrast, as well as highlights and shadows to bring movement and form in her dress, body shape and boots, bringing her to life with a 3-d photo realistic quality. You’ll finish off this Christmas painting by learning how to paint snow with just a few dots and dabs of the paint brush. The art lesson is so easy to follow, you’ll feel like it’s a paint by numbers. Using only 3 brushes and 6 colors, you’ll paint like a professional and create the best winter female figure portrait! Have a date night, paint party, paint and sip event, or virtual paint night. Paint with gouache, oil paint, or watercolor, any medium will work! Paint just for fun, as a hobby, or for art therapy. It's an easy art project for anyone. I hope you enjoy watching this YouTube art video and let's get painting and let's get sipping! IMAGE LINK FOR PRINTING: https://static1.squarespace.com/stati...
