Hi, I’m Ward Carroll. Welcome to my channel. I spent 20 years in the U.S. Navy as an F-14 Radar Intercept Officer, much of the time serving aboard aircraft carriers deployed to hot spots around the world. After I retired at the rank of commander, I was the editor of Military.com and a few other military sites, which allowed me to stay in touch with the Pentagon and our troops, including those at war. I’m the author the bestselling Punk Trilogy that deals with life in an F-14 squadron stationed both at sea and ashore. I’m also a guitarist and a lifelong fan of all kinds of music, especially rock n’ roll. Here at my channel, we’ll talk airplanes, music, and writing . . . but mostly airplanes.
