The Tide Mills Project - Heritage Celebration Week (22 September 2021)

Tide Mills, located on the south coast between Newhaven and Seaford, is a place of mixed emotions. Long abandoned by its community and now being reclaimed by nature, the ruins that remain give a small insight into the incredible history of this once industrious and pioneering village. The Tide Mills Project commissioned nationally acclaimed artists, designers, sculptors, poets, musicians, and writers to work with the local community and recreate the lost village. The heritage celebration week took place from Wednesday 22 to Sunday 26 September 2021.
