Silverstone Track Day 23-11-12 - E39 M5

A couple of laps driving my mate Tom's completely standard 1999 E39 M5, had never driven the car before so elected to do the first lap with the traction control on! Turned it off 2nd lap and was well impressed with how it handled for a big cruiser. Although the brakes were shot by the end of the 2nd lap... Sorry about all the chat - it was Tom's first track day so trying to point out a few bits - and the lines are all over the place trying to search out grip in the tricky conditions.
