Wash the potato before peeling 2. Cut the potato into smaller sizes And put it in a clean bowl. Cover the bowl using plastic wrap then put it in the oven for 7 minutes or more until the potato became tender. You can also boil it like a regular process when making smashed potato. 3. Carefully smash the potato then add salt, sugar and cornstarch. it's better to smash it using your clean hands so wait for it to cool down a bit then dough it using your hand. Once all the ingredients are incorporated, flatten each one out to about ½” thickness, around the size of a palm. 4. Fill the centers with cheese and bring the edges together to seal. On a pan well oiled. Fry the potato until it is golden brown, on each side. 5. Make sure to use a steady, medium heat on a well greased pan and keep it moving to ensure that it cooks inside as well.
