Thousands of Lismore residents remain in emergency accommodation

Flood victims across Lismore have said they're still waiting for support ten months after floods ripped through the town. The government has tried to provide relief by building temporary housing pods. Ten of the housing pods remain empty on the side of the road in the flood-affected town of Lismore. Many residents are furious, with some saying the $350 million spent on temporary housing could have been used to help fix the shortage of 18,600 homes in the Northern Rivers region.
