Prayer Quilts - #3754 Tammy Sterken / #3755 Leonard Guthrie / #3756 Nancy Blanton Kids Choir for Christmas - Starting Wed Nov 5th - 5:00-6:00pm - Get ready to sing, shine and celebrate the season! We’re launching two Kids Choirs to perform during our Family Christmas Sunday on Dec 14th. Carol Choir – for 4’s and Kindergartners - Kids Choir – for 1st thru 5th graders. Both choirs will meet on Wed afternoons starting Nov 5th for six fun and festive practices. Carol Choir 4:00-4:30pm | Kids Choir 4:30-5:30pm. Parents are invited to join in the fun too—sing alongside your kids and make it a family experience to remember! For more information, email Jeremy Scary To Be Hungry - We have held this campaign for the past several years. Oct is a very low month at the food bank but they are still serving the same amount of folks and trying to gear up for the holiday rush where they receive donations but also an uptick in their clients around the holidays. This is a great time for us to collect those nonperishable high protein items. Please bring in your items all month long. We will have ‘scary’ barrels in the church lobby and the marketplace! Candy Collection – Now thru Fri Oct 24th 12:30pm. To make the night extra special for the kids, we’re asking for candy donations. To help, please bring bags of individually wrapped candy and drop them off in the collection bins located in the lobby. Every donation—big or small—helps us share joy with families in our community. Thank you for partnering with us to make Trunk or Treat a safe and memorable event for all! YA - Anona’s Trunk or Treat returns! Trunks needed Fri Oct 24th 6:00-7:30pm. We’re so excited to welcome our community for an evening of fun, fellowship and lots of sweet treats! If you would like to decorate a trunk, we would love to have you join us. No experience needed. Please call the church office to volunteer. Friends in Faith Nights - Riding the roads of life in the Young Adult life stage? Join us with faith, friends and food every 2nd Monday of the month from 7 to 8:15pm. Convos, devos, studies, relevant topics and prayer guide this journey. Ride with your tribe in a safe, meaningful and fulfilling way. Confirmation Sunday - Today 8:10am - 12:00pm. Join us as we celebrate, pray over and witness our Confirmands accepting the name Christian and officially joining the church in all three morning services! Ministry Fair – Oct 26th - You are all invited to join us in the lobby following each service for a Ministry Fair. Fall Retreat 2025 - Nov 7th 5pm-Nov 9th 1pm. DEADLINES: Registration closes Monday, October 13th. Scholarship Applications are due Monday, October 13th. Final Payment due by Monday, October 27th. GriefShare – Meetings are Mon nights 6-8pm in room 110. This weekly seminar will help you rebuild your life after loss. You don’t have to face grief alone. GriefShare offers a safe space to share your feelings and find encouragement from others who understand. Stephen Ministry is a confidential lay ministry that provides distinctively Christian one-on-one care to those who are experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstances, both in our congregation and community.
