CHRIST THE KING SUNDAY “Inherit the Kingdom” November 22, 2020 The Last Sunday of the Church Year has also been called “Christ the King Sunday,” its theme is “continuation.” Jesus, the Good Shepherd, continues to guard and guide His flock.His sheep, who have traveled with Him through earthly pastures, now await the new heaven and new earth He has prepared. And how amazing it will be! Paul shares a glimpse of the eternal life that is to come in these words: “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard . . . God has prepared for those who love Him.” Joyfully awaiting what is yet to be, we say, “Amen!Come, Lord Jesus!”
