STUTI VIVALDI CHORAL & STRING PUCCINI ENSEMBLE ROSSINI 7.30pm, 07th Nov 2025 | St Anthony's Church

The Stuti Choral Ensemble, founded in Goa by Fr Eufemiano Miranda in February 2009, began as a group of singers, professionals from diverse fields, bound together by their shared love for choral music. Parvesh Java first performed with the Goa String Orchestra in March 2015 and later with the Stuti Choral Ensemble in November that same year. Now conducted by Parvesh, the Stuti Choral and String Ensemble will open its 2025-2026 season with a performance dedicated to three great Italian composers, spanning the Baroque, early Romantic, and late Romantic eras: Vivaldi, Rossini, and Puccini. The concert will begin with a violin concerto by the Roman Catholic priest and composer Antonio Vivaldi, who devoted his life to the advancement of sacred music. The soloist will be Martina Charles from Kochi, winner of the 2023 Con Brio Violin Competition, under the baton of guest conductor Smit Shah.
