We’re heading to wedding today for my niece’s son, so I thought this would be a perfect time to answer a question I’ve been getting a lot recently: How do you attach the seal to the envelope, once you’ve made it? Answer: Double sided stickers, made specifically for wax seals 💌, 3M is my favorite brand, they’re really thin and super sticky ✨ Another question I often get: Can you send them through the mail?! Answer: Yes!! With some precautions: When you mail sealed letters, the letter and seal together should be no thicker than 1/4”. Also, ask the post office to hand cancel the letter, there's a small surcharge for the service, but that way they don't run it through the machines. You can also place the sealed envelope in another envelope, but I still recommend hand canceling.
