2025-02-23 PCOR Worship-“Do you Have What it Takes?”

On the Seventh Sunday after Epiphany guest preacher Honor Jackson’s sermon “Do you Have What it Takes?” compelled us to love our enemies. Honor Jackson reads from Luke 6:27-38 where we are taught about loving enemies, showing kindness, and practicing mercy. Jesus instructs His followers to love those who hate them, give without expecting in return, and treat others as they want to be treated. Honor Jackson emphasizes that God rewards those who forgive and act with generosity, urging people to be compassionate just as God is compassionate.
