How to Quickly Grow A Larger Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree With Massive Leaves
A lot of plant growers will say that fiddle leaf figs hate full direct sun (can't take it) and prefer to be in bright indirect light. While this can be true, this isn't always the case. I grow my fiddle leaf fig outside in the Spring and Summer without any problems! The tree grows a nice strong trunk and the leaves become very big. One of the reasons why the trunk becomes nice and strong is because of the wind. The swaying of the trunk because of the wind causes it to become stronger and stronger. The trick is you have to start the plant in the sun in Spring and Summer, then move the plant back indoors for fall and winter. That way the leaves that grow during the growing season are accustomed to the sun's intensity. I encourage all plant enthusiast to experiment with growing their fiddle leaf fig outdoors.
