The Last of Us Part II Hard+ Mode 100% - pseudo no deaths, with Chapters - no commentary (Part 1/2)
CNs for the videos: Strong visual and verbal violence, death, blood, vomiting (twice: 5:12:07-5:12:13 in this video, 9:39:37-9:39:50 in the the second one), graphic imagery, depiction of trauma, emotional breakdowns, grief, pregnancy, animal death. Basically: Expect all the things except for rape. More on this: https://www.doesthedogdie.com/media/6... This is my second playthrough of The Last of Us Part II (first one was on Normal). I gathered all collectibles - notes/artifacts, trading cards, safes, training books, journal entries, workbenches and coins (as in: Everything required to get the Platinum Trophy in the end) plus most of the optional dialogue - on Hard+ mode. Hard+ is unlocked after you complete the game once; it's harder than a first playthrough's Hard mode, but easier than (necessarily a second playthrough's) Survivor+ mode. I edited out all deaths in normal combat for convenience's sake. I hope I caught all of them, anyway! I do display the amount of attempts every combat sequence took me, as an indicator for people for how hard a section is if they had trouble themselves and need reassurance that it's not just them. ;) I'm just one person though and got lucky a couple of times; don't let anyone (including yourself) tell you you're playing a game wrong or are bad at them, that's noone's place to judge, and people who think you can play a video game wrong have a pretty unhealthy understanding of video games. I found all collectibles with the help of a guide - https://www.ign.com/articles/the-last... - which means that I just stand around doing nothing every once in a while; those pauses are usually around 5-15 seconds long and should never be longer than 30 seconds, I tried to edit out every longer pause (but, in a 24 hour playthrough, might have missed some, so apologies if that's the case). I actually miss two notes; the first one because it only appears if you pull out a melee weapon which I didn't need, and the second one because I was organizing my weapons while running past it. The first one is visible at 3:38:51 in this video, the second one at 5:53:45 in the second video. I put a disclaimer on screen for both of them and get the platinum trophy in the end anyway because I already picked them up during my first playthrough, so with these disclaimers, I hope you allow me to claim the 100% label anyway. ❤️ The Last of Us Part II is about trauma, not revenge. If you want to discuss anything about it, here or anywhere else, please keep that in mind. For its depiction of trauma, I recommend this article: https://www.sofistake.com/blogs/under... If you want to discuss this game's emotional worth, may I point you to my thread that I wrote after finishing it the first time instead: / 1275660470729478145 For its decisions of its story, writing structure and character arcs, go here instead of letting your shock and anger get the best of you (and please don't be angry there but rather try to see that perspective): • Understanding The Last of Us Part II | Gir... If you watched this as your chosen way to experience this game, feel free to leave a comment so that I know that I didn't take 2 weeks to try to render this monster on a 9 year old computer for nothing. x) Either way, remember to be gay and do crime! ❤️ - The Last of Us Part II is a dramatic third-person action survival game by Naughty Dog for the PS4. Five years after their dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States, Ellie and Joel have settled down in Jackson, Wyoming. Living amongst a thriving community of survivors has allowed them peace and stability, despite the constant threat of the infected and other, more desperate survivors. When a violent event disrupts that peace, Ellie embarks on a relentless journey to carry out justice and find closure. As she hunts those responsible one by one, she is confronted with the devastating physical and emotional repercussions of her actions. - This video was originally streamed to my Twitch channel: / jatenk - Chapters: 00:00:00 Chapter 1: Jackson - Prologue 00:14:37 Ch1 - Waking Up 00:31:25 Ch1 - The Overlook 00:49:33 Ch1 - Patrol 01:37:45 Ch1 - The Horde 01:52:49 Ch1 - The Chalet 01:57:18 Ch1 - Packing Up 02:10:05 Chapter 2: Seattle Day 1 - The Gate 02:37:02 Ch2 - Downtown 04:02:14 Ch2 - Eastbrook Elementary 04:21:02 Ch2 - Capitol Hill 05:20:15 Ch2 - Channel 13 05:32:25 Ch2 - The Tunnels 06:07:39 Ch2 - The Theater 06:16:44 Ch2 - The Birthday Gift 06:48:35 Chapter 3: Seattle Day 2 - Hillcrest 08:08:31 Ch3 - Finding Strings 08:38:06 Ch3 - The Seraphites 10:44:18 Ch3 - St. Mary's Hospital 10:51:02 Chapter 4: Seattle Day 3 - Road to the Aquarium
