Recreate an old painting from 2022 | Episode 5: Things don't have to stay the same
You know why I chose this painting? It was the first A3 sized painting that I painted from reference. And the first painting of my 100-day project in 2022 (took me about 4 to 5 days to finish). I couldn't find the same reference photo that I used in 2022 but I am recreating a similar style in A3 size by a photo taken by @krissmacd and noting differences in technique and subtle style too. This is a 7-part series as I took 6 days to finish and on the 7th day is a time-lapse of this beauty taking shape. This piece was also the start of my morning pages. I feel like these 2 art pieces have a unique standing in history Throughout this tutorial series, I will showcase the step-by-step process of replicating the old painting, providing valuable insights and tips for watercolor.
