Independence Day Weekend at The Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island

The 4th of July is a great time to come visit us on the farm. After the "FOOT TRAFFIC" Half Flat Marathon, that happens early in the morning, the island is not very crowded and you can come enjoy a relaxed afternoon of picking berries and shopping for fresh produce or canning supplies in our Produce Market and the perfect gift item in The Pumpkin Cottage. ABOUT US: Open June - October; Daily 9AM-6PM. The Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island was established in 1967 and continues to provide the perfect family outing during the Summer and Fall seasons. You can enjoy the benefits of a real working farm and the fresh produce that is available in our Produce Market at low, farm-direct prices. Our Animal Barn, an iconic dairy barn built in the 1920s, has animals for viewing and enjoying. We have an incredible gift shop, The Pumpkin Cottage, where you can find a variety of souvenirs, specialty gifts, and decorative items. Our Patio Cafe, open weekends only and then daily in October, is one of the reasons many folks travel to the island to enjoy our grass-fed burgers made from our own Pumpkin Patch grown beef. Of course, our Fall Harvest Festival provides the premier location for hayrides, pumpkin picking and a fun trek through "The Maize", Portland's original corn maze.
